Frugal Accomplishments This Past Week

Hi there everyone! I hope you had a really awesome week this past week! Our week was pretty terrific, very full of wonderful things, but to be honest, not so full of frugal things…

But even so, I do have some frugal stuff to share with you that I and my family members did to save money this past week.

Here’s what we did:

Made homemade kombucha.
Made homemade vegan fish sauce substitute- recipe to come soon!
Stocked up on quinoa that was on sale at a super price!
Bought freeze pop makers, and made homemade freeze pops!
Turned leftover sesame noodles into egg foo yong.
Made soaked buckwheat pancakes for breakfast one day.
Pickled up my bulk order of coconut sugar.
Turned soft cucumbers into cucumber salad.
Foraged olive leaves, lambsquarters, and black nightshade berries.
Made chicken soup from chicken carcasses.
Used leftover potato water to cook my rice.
Made homemade mock oatmeal raisin cookies.
Got free cottage cheese, milk, olives, pickles, and freeze pops from my neighbors who moved away.
